Started in 1983, Ellis & Associates was created in response to the rapidly changing needs of the quickly expanding water park industry. As aquatic facilities stretched the boundaries of exhilarating attractions and experiences, it became clear that more research, data, testing and collaboration was necessary to elevate both swimmer and lifeguard safety. Today, the world leader in aquatic safety, now known as Ellis International, includes five partner organizations all sharing a common mission – zero drownings.
